NISA Pass
Privacy policy
Updated 2 October 2026
What this policy covers
NISA Pass (https://nisapass.com) explains Japan’s NISA system, helps you research investments, and keeps records after you sign in. This policy describes how personal information is handled on the public site and in signed-in features.
Information we handle
To provide the service, we may handle the following.
- The display name, email address, profile image, and account identifier received when you sign in with Google
- Your preferred language, account creation time, and last sign-in time
- Your plan and subscription status
- Investments or research you save
- A cookie that remembers your language preference
- Server records kept for operation and security, such as the time of a request, the page requested, browser type, and IP address
How we use it
We use this information for the following purposes.
- Creating an account, keeping you signed in, and confirming who you are
- Showing the site in the language you chose
- Providing what you saved and the plan on your account
- Operating the site, preventing abuse, and investigating faults
- Telling you about changes to this policy or the terms when we need to
Cookies
The public site may store your language preference in a cookie for up to one year. Sign-in is kept in a separate session. You can delete the cookie in your browser. After you delete it, a later visit may not keep the same language preference.
Google sign-in
When you create an account, Google confirms your identity. NISA Pass receives only the profile information needed for sign-in. Google’s own policy covers how Google handles that data.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties except with Google for sign-in, with providers needed to run the site, or when the law requires disclosure.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept while the account exists and for as long as operation, security, or the law requires. Investments or research you save stay linked to the account while they remain there.
Your choices
An account is not created unless you sign in. Public pages can be read without an account. After you sign in, the profile page shows your display name, email address, and plan status. Questions about personal information can be sent through the contact method published on the NISA Pass website.
Children
NISA Pass is not a service for children.
Changes
When we revise this policy, we update this page and its date.
